Beyond the endless glare associated with the neon that is bright and the sounds of slot machines, cocktail glasses and sexy encounters, lies a much, much darker and grimmer reality in Sin City: a seldom-reported fact and one which many resorts go out of their method to keep out from the media is the actual amount of suicides committed in nevada, sometimes following a final weekend of debauchery and with as many tragic motivations as life it self needs to offer. These suicides are never associated to something that happened in Las Vegas, mind you; but the City of Neon seems to represent to many people a place to see life off, for whatever reasons.
In fact, several studies have discovered that Las vegas, nevada is the # 1 destination of preference for people to kill themselves within the U.S.
